Have you ever had one of those crazy ideas that you can’t get out of your head?  For me it was the idea of making my own jewelry.  Then the next idea was, “What if I could sale it?” I’m not the first to come up with this idea by any means.  In fact many people have made million dollar businesses out of making and selling jewelry. Their success came because they worked hard to make it happen!  I don’t necessarily  want to be a millionaire (although that would be very nice)  I just want to sell some of my jewelry to people who find it cool and unique! Now the question is how do you make that happen?  Where do you find your customers?  When do you find the time to do all this?

Why isn’t this easy?!  Most great ideas aren’t. It takes someone with passion and vision to see that dream become a reality. Even if it takes up every bit of your free time.

The truth is, you’re going to get a lot of N0’s at first but if you want your idea to come to life you have to not stop dreaming and start thinking creatively.

Part of my recent creative time produced some cool new jewelry.  I have always wanted to learn how to do bead knotting.  I thought it would be really hard but it was quite easy.  Here’s some stuff from my latest line:

I found this special “S” dangle at a home goods store that was moving and then combined it with some round agate beads.

Making jewelry is one of my passions and I’m not going to stop working hard to make my dream a reality.  It’s a lot of long nights and busy weekends but ultimately when you’re doing something that makes you happy you will work as hard as you can to make it happen.

So take that idea you have floating around your head and make it happen!
