I’ve never understood someone who didn’t enjoy planning their wedding.  For me, planning my wedding was so much fun!  I enjoyed every aspect of planning a wedding.  I loved finding the venue, caterer, DJ, decorations…etc. I went to every bridal show in town for months.   This might sound selfish but I loved it because it was finally a day that was all about my husband and I and I strived to make our wedding reflect who we are and what we hold important.

Now I didn’t like everything… I didn’t like the high price tags on EVERYTHING wedding related.  Why is it that if something is wedding related, suddenly it’s way more expensive then it should be?!  I was on a budget, so I really had to work to find things I wanted, that also didn’t break the bank.  I can honestly say that I was able to get everything I wanted at our wedding and we only spent $5,000. This took a lot of effort and a lot of research on my part to find services and items that didn’t cost as much.

This is honestly the reason why I started my own wedding line. I want to provide brides with special and unique pieces that don’t cost an arm and a leg.  One of those expensive items is bridal sashes. Try going into ANY bridal store and finding a sash for less then $75. If you do find one, it’s probably very plain and simple.  I also wanted to provide brides with pretty hair pieces. I made my own for my wedding and for multiply friends weddings. That’s another item that we priced out and found it to be too expensive.
