Hi, My name is Sarah. I started this blog to share my love for life, crafts, food, travel, jewelry making and decorating.
My first passion is jewelry making. My obsession with it started when I was in my early twenties. One day, as I was getting dressed I realized that I didn’t have any jewelry to match the outfit I had on. So I thought, “I can fix that.” I went straight to Michael’s and walked into the bead aisle. I had no clue what I was doing or what tools I needed to get the job down, but as I stood there I felt pure joy. I was taken in by all the options and sparkly items (I seriously love bling). It was almost too much to handle. I knew I was hooked.
That was about 10 years ago. Since then my jewelry making skills have improved and I actually sell the items I make (10 years ago I would have never thought someone would buy my jewelry). A lot of my jewelry is inspired by the travel I’ve done. I’ve always been fascinated by foreign and old coins. As I was shopping in an antique store one day I found a old necklace that had some old coins on it. To me it looked so cool and it gave me a great idea, why not use coins in my jewelry?! So, I grabbed some of the coins I collected, asked my husband to drill holes in them and started a whole line of coin inspired jewelry.

Mostly it’s all just been fun and a way for me to forget about the world and just have time to myself. When I’m making jewelry, it’s my happy time!
Writing this blog has also been a dream of mine. I just want to share the things that make me happy and hopefully they will make you happy too. Cheers!
